Letter to Members

Sunday, July 10, 2022 Dear Members, Chris Murray has informed me that he is taking another General Manager job. Chris has been a huge asset to Woodholme and he will be missed. Chris is going to the Fenway Club in Scarsdale, NY. His last day at Woodholme will be in early August. I hope you all will wish Chris good luck in his new endeavor. This weekend, the Officers of the Club offered Oliver Leoni the position of Interim General Manager after Chris departs and Oliver has accepted this offer. Oliver has been a trusted executive at Woodholme for almost a decade and he is ready to take on this new challenge. We're excited to see what Oliver can do in this new role with his infectious personality and boundless energy. Oliver has a strong relationship with our chef, pros and other staff members and we expect no changes in any of those positions. We have asked Oliver to consider what additional hires may be needed to fill out a team for this year. The timing of these efforts are not ideal as we're in the middle of our "season." Nevertheless, I am confident our existing team, led by Oliver and assisted by the Club staff and the Board of Governors, can rise to the occasion. Arthur H. Adler President
